XRF Energy Dispersion Spectrometer (EDS) is realized by analyzing the wavelength and intensity of the characteristic ray emitted by the sample. The elements in the sample are determined according to the different wavelength of the characteristic ray emitted by different elements. The content of elements in the sample can be determined by comparing the strength of the spectral lines of different elements. Usually combined with electron microscopy, the samples can be analyzed by microanalysis.
